In the heart of California’s iconic wine country, The Meadows at Napa Valley Senior Living Life Plan Community has undergone a long-awaited remodel and expansion, breathing new life into its primary amenity building. Designed to support the active, vibrant lives of residents who wish to stay in their cherished Napa community as they age, the new space offers a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere that fosters connection and engagement.
From the new pool and fitness center to its refined dining venues, our expansion brings people together through shared activities while strengthening ties to the wider Napa community. The design of the expanded amenity space, like the residents it serves, is deeply rooted in Napa’s unique culture. Full-height glass windows and high-vaulted ceilings frame stunning views of the surrounding landscape, while custom metal mesh drum light fixtures add a modern touch to the rustic-contemporary design inspired by Napa’s rich wine heritage.
The central atrium serves as a flexible event space, featuring artful hanging screens that define intimate areas within the larger room, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for gatherings of all sizes. The newly renovated dining room centers around wine in both elegant and unexpected ways—custom chandeliers made from reclaimed wine bottles, a feature wall of reclaimed wine barrel wood, and a striking wine wall as the room’s centerpiece. The emphasis on farm-to-table food celebrates Napa’s culinary traditions and elevates the dining experience for residents.
Our interior design team carefully researched the natural and cultural influences of the Napa Valley, incorporating earthy tones, neutral greens, warm browns, and hints of burnt orange to evoke the region’s rolling hills and lush vineyards. Custom-designed hanging screens and hand-drawn map artwork pay homage to Napa’s storied past, while basketweave tiles surrounding the pool recall the traditional craftsmanship of the area’s indigenous peoples.

Residents have said the redesigned dining spaces rival the best restaurants in Napa, and the entire expansion captures the essence of Napa’s spirit, offering a place where residents and their families can feel truly at home, now and for years to come.
