Arc Central

Visionary Community

Arc Central brings the vibrancy of city life to Beaverton, transforming a formerly underused site into a thriving, transit-oriented community. Located at Beaverton’s Round civic center, the development consists of two mid-rise buildings—Rise West and Rise East—that blend urban and suburban living. Where an empty parking lot and old theater once stood, now stand lively homes and communal spaces, with residents engaging on stoops, walking, and biking along well-connected streets. Created for Rembold, Arc Central offers townhouse-inspired residences that balance urban-style living with suburban benefits: walkability to transit, parks, dining, and entertainment, plus larger units and onsite parking. The project, the first phase of a larger plan, integrates architecture, urban planning, and interior design to shape the area’s future. Rise West is a quieter, garden-like five-story building, while Rise East is a more energetic six-story structure, both offering a mix of studio to townhome apartments, with 15 affordable units. Shared amenities include a penthouse lounge, fitness center, bike parking, and a roof terrace facing east toward the Round. Inside, a fresh, energetic design with bright accents and earthy materials complements natural light throughout. The transparent circular opening on Rise East’s sixth floor creates a dynamic indoor/outdoor space. Locally sourced, ethnically inclusive artwork, including custom pieces by Portland’s Betsy & Iya, adds to the eclectic, welcoming vibe. Arc Central exemplifies how intentional, holistic design can foster community. From the planning stage to the finished spaces, every element reflects Rembold’s vision for a human-scaled, connected Beaverton, and a thriving neighborhood where people feel at home.
