After finding space in Hillsboro where they could comfortably expand their growing workforce, DaBella, a home improvement company, needed to transform a trapped-in-the-’70s business park interior into a modern headquarters that reflects their unique company culture and inspires their staff. Our approach reimagined a football field–length floorplate into an elevated, brand-integrated workplace that both call center staff and the executive team can call home. Designed to mirror DaBella’s commitment to beauty, transformation, and an encouraging, positive culture, the space brings energy and cohesion to daily work across the organization. The design concept revolves around DaBella’s logo, morphing, growing, and blossoming into a beautiful creature. Six bold brand colors carry that idea throughout the workplace, becoming a visual metaphor expressed through clear wayfinding cues and subtle, consistent touches. Signature DaBella residential building products are woven into the interiors with a new twist. Bright blue shingles and electric green siding offer an elevated, artistic homage to the company’s materials, bringing the brand to life in unexpected ways and reinforcing a headquarters built for growth.
