For the past few years, Ankrom Moisan has been researching how we can implement Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) programs into our projects. Using devices such as the HTC VIVE and the Microsoft HoloLens, we are now able to give clients a better understanding of what completed projects will look like. The VR and AR experiences allow the designers and users to become more spatially aware of projects in development and to discover design conflicts that cannot be perceived on paper or a computer screen. Having the ability to address issues before construction saves the project time and money.
Our strides in making the technology more accesible to project clients was recently featured in the Oregon DJC.
