Educational facilities are one of the most rewarding
types of architecture to design. The building has to support learning and be
safe for the students, be an economical use of the public’s money and be
flexible to the ever-changing needs of modern technology and the student body.
In addition, sustainable design is vital for educational facilities. From an
economic point-of-view sustainable design reduces long term operating costs;
from a health standpoint it just makes sense—our future generation deserves a
healthy place in which to learn.
The educational facilities team at Ankrom Moisan came
together out of a shared passion for this building type. They have the
experience, having worked previously at many of the top education design firms
in the state. And they have the desire; their goal is to design spaces that
will serve the needs of both current and future generations of students.
