After a three-year, $25 million renovation, Seattle’s
downtown Red Lion hotel reopened in June 2014 as Motif—the city’s largest
independently branded hotel. Taking design cues from Seattle’s cultural
significance, Ankrom Moisan’s interior designers led the transformation of this
20-story hotel into a chic and distinct urban destination.
“Motif is inspired by Seattle’s burgeoning fashion, music,
and art scenes,” said Motif General Manager Shannon Sheron. For AMA designers,
that meant honoring the city’s past, present, and future.
